card drops
How does the card drops work.
Because i have no idea how it works or what to do with it.
Can anyone help me.

I think you should just play game, it's completly random and you can get only half of all cards by random drops. Rest of the cards you have to get by trading or buying.

It's odd, I just played for 30 minutes and it dropped nothing.

I also noticed I can't open the Steam overlay when playing... mmm...

It not exactly 30 mins that it drops, its random, Your can get your half of the badge within 30mins - 2 hours (if you are extremely unlucky -_-)

theoretically, whenever someone creates the badge they give it a booster to some people who are elligible.

Yeah, "theoretically". Haven't seen a booster for any game I've been playing though. Who knows how often they get distributed.

I have 3 cards for ~3 hours of playing. But first and second i get just after 30 minutes, i think. So, you must just play the game :)

As people have said, card drops are random, although I usually get 3-4 cards within 2 hours of playing. Booster packs work differently so don't hold your breath for them.

Card drops are randomly determined. Just play the game and occasionally it should drop a card, when you play the game more. That's how it worked for me :)

For me it took about 3 hours to get 3 cards.

It seems like the first 2 cards come quick then the last one is a bit longer of a wait.

It's incredibly random. I put 4 hours into Team Fortress 2 and only got 2 of the drops from that I'm elligible for. Yet I played 1 hour of Civilization V and got ALL the card drops I was eligible for from that.
