More expansions?
Have there been any official talk of more expansions or is Dredmor "done" ? I'd love to see an official "rooms" pack with some of the best stuff out there, maybe some more monsters and items.

There's certainly demand for it, but the devs are currently working on a new game (Clockwork Empires) which is kind of a cross between Sim City and Dwarf Fortress, with some Elizabethan Steampunk and H.P. Lovecraft thrown into the mix.

They DO have a patch in progress, but work on it was put on hold CE is due to be released (hopefully) early next year. I'd say after CEs release, you can expect a series of patches for that game over the course of however long that takes. Once work on it slows down, MAYBE you'll see the patch.

As far as a sequel or a DLC is concerned, as I've previously guessed on the official forums, I wouldn't expect one before the upcoming Zombie apocalypse in 2015. (What I meant was that if CE is at all succesful (and I'm hoping it will be), GLGs focus will likely remain on that game, with any dlcs, over the course of a year or two after release. After that, it's anyone's guess as to what may happen.

The devs have stated that they don't want to do any more DLC for dredmor unless they have a really unique idea for one. But I don't think it would be realistic to see one until 2015 at the earliest, and only if CE does not take off the way that Dredmor did.

Then again, if the economy improves and they decide to grow the company, well then they may have sufficient resources to work more on Dredmor at the same time as CE. But that's a real big if. They already did hire people for CE, and even then, the crew that they had working on the patch for Dredmor had to be absorbed into the project (at least that's my understanding from what I've read).

Yeah, more expansions are looking pretty unlikely.
If you do want more Dredmor, you can always look at the mods. They're free and many are as good as content you'd get in expansions (You have to Name the Expansion Pack is, in fact, entirely user-made mods that were considered good enough for the main game).

There are mods that give new skills, new monsters and new rooms to the game. So they're certainly worth a look.
