A very unbalanced game design that will often have you killed because you were kicked in a corner and unable to move away, or enemies will spawn behind you without warning, and the enemies are boring. But the weapons are really fun.
To be a bit more honest, that game suffers from 4 very bad problems :
- the enemies are all faster than you. You can sprint to bypass that peculiar issue, but given that you can only sprint forward, that the levels are quite small, and that you can't shoot while sprinting, it's basically useless,
- the levels are very beautiful, but sadly, they are filled with invisible walls. Graphically, you're moving in a futuristic town, but in fact, the game could just be a bunch of rooms and corridors,
- I do not know how explosions are programmed, but a wall will never protect you from an explosion. I did the test of hiding myself in a container (three walls and a roofs) and yet I still took damage from explosions,
- and the most annoying problem : that blur each time you get hit. No matter if that missile took 75HP or one, your screen will get blurred, making it impossible to see how your health is. And if you're ganged up on by enemies, you're done for. They'll constantly knockback you and kill you extremely quickly.
Otherwise, enemies are fairly challenging, with a very decent tracking (that's a nice way to say "you'll fail almost every evade and get charged by that giant angry robot"), but your weapons are diverse and powerful enough to not turn the fights into a chore.
