why cant i play?

I think it only can run on Windows XP SP3, but have no idea how to do it :P

If you're running a version of XP which hasn't been patched to SP3 then you will have troubles with a lot of games that use GFWL. Just update your OS (no real reason why you shouldn't have anyway) and it should run.

The same. It won't start up UNLESS I select windows live. But to have Windows live, you need to make an account. And if I'm correct, it's a Pay to play account.

I had the same problem, but then I realized that my computer had a bunch of optional updates just sittin' around (one of them being an update for my graphics card). After installing the updates it worked fine.
