Still playable after free weekend?
Maybe this happens with a lot of games, but it's something I've never encountered before. I played Frozen Synapse over the free weekend, then the weekend expired and I still had it installed. At some point I noticed it in my library and deleted it from the list / deleted the content, but today I was looking through my steamapps/common folder and noticed a lot of the files were still there.

I ran the .exe and it looks like I'm still able to play it. Is this a demo version now or is the full game actually still playable (when it shouldn't be)?

There is a demo version of the game, so that is almost certainly what you're playing.

How can you be certain? For that matter, is there any way for me to check?

If this video is what the demo version looks like, then I don't have the demo version.

I had the files left over from Monaco's free weekend, but unlike Frozen Synapse, when I run Monaco, it requires that I log into Steam, at which point it redirects me to the store page.

I can't be certain because I own the game, but also that video you linked is three years old.

In any case it's an easy check to make. Start the game and try to play an online multiplayer match. If you can't successfully play one, then you're running the demo. If you can, then congratulations you won a free game.
