For a price of few pints I dont mind. Just unlock decks you want by playing more or by other methods (wink wink) and you good to go. Some people just can't be pleased.

How about you play (and win, if you're decent enough) to unlock the cards? You can also get 100 free cards with promo codes. Sounds like you just want everything handed to you.

I don't understand what your problem is. That you have to play with the decks to unlock more cards for them?
That is a good feature in my opinion, It keeps me playing. If i had all the decks unlocked right away it would be boring.

it have some bugs sometimes, but still them its a very cheap game for what it offers, playing online is very fun, and always have players.

u can unlock cards by playing or just pay the 99 cents if u want its upto the player

First you can't even change the number of lands yourself. That's a basic thing.

Second there are some dumb ♥♥♥ decks like infinite lightning helix to face. It's not that I can't beat it, it's just neither fun or an interesting challenge. Plus to my knowledge you cannot put more then 4 times the same card in a deck so exit the real rules. I want to play the real thing.

Third paying for some add on is a very bad habit that you peoples seems happy to adhere to. Well have a blast because all the video games companies are quite happy to realese infinished products which should'nt be the case. It's not a question of being "satisfied" it's a question of not getting ripped off.

" Plus to my knowledge you cannot put more then 4 times the same card in a deck so exit the real rules. I want to play the real thing."

Curious on what you meant on this one. The game won't let you have more than four cause the actual rules of magic are the same. In the challange duels this rule gets broken for lets say "into the mine" in which the deck is all mana leak, howling mine and the blocker.

You only have to pay for extra decks and an expansion if you want, which are cheaper than the actual real cards. The unlocks can just simply be won. Lack of land management is annoying but the ratio is balanced.

The game is hardly a scam. It's not meant for the FNM player but rather the people who don't wish to drop all the money into the actual cards again. I feel more ripped off paying $30 bucks for fatpack than $15 (Base and some dlc) all together for hours of single player and tons of mutiplayer.

^^^ Exactly what this guy said. I dont buy the real cards as that is true scam mate, prices are inflated so much that I just can't be bothered. Here, for a fraction of that money you get a quite good game that you can play single or with your friends and have fun. Also, if you are having problems with some parts of the campaign try changing the difficulty or just shut the hell up and find another game to suck at.

This thread has great entertainment value(Not trying to be rude here).
I have been playing Duels since the previous version 2012 came out and yes there are many things you can't do in the game if you compare it to real life magic. However it is a cheap way of trying out magic and it has very little to do with how you would normally play in real life.

It's not a scam if you get what you pay for.
Mad Jan 3, 2013 @ 5:57am
You shouldn't have to pay more than once to get the full experience of the game. You guys really don't get this he?

The game is cheap and the challenges uninteresting. And yes I was expecting the game to work by the real rules. Period.

'and it has very little to do with how you would normally play in real life.' That one deserve a lol. Thank you for confirming what I said. Of course the game is presented as being the real thing but I'm wrong to pretend it's a scam.

In my opinion... this game is boring... no point in buying it... its like playing cards in real life... a waste of time and money.

Why the game is that restrictive ? Because of the AI !

Il really like this game, it's fun, and i can play some kind of Magic without paying hundreds euros for buying real cards. I don't have to go on championship or only face people who are more richer to get all the good cards. In this video game, everybody have a chance to win.

You don't like this game ? Ok now we know it. You can now return to your real life Magic cards. See ya !

Well ok then. I guess we wont see you on the battlefield then. No point in buying the game if you already dislike playing Magic.

That's part of my reason for liking this game. When you have all the cards unlocked and your playing random opponents in 1 on 1 duels or 2 Headed Giant then the games can be quite entertaining. I even like to team up with a friend in 2HG using a deck that's not fully unlocked. It's all a matter of looking for new combo's with other cards and it's fun for me finding a combo to turn the game around that I haven't tried before and I'm not talking Panoptic Mirror + Time Warp.
