So why is the "Revenge" Campaign so blatantly rigged?
I've been stuck on one of these for awhile and it certainly takes the random element out of a game that has a strong random element irl. It hilariously awful when match after match they always have the proper counters for everything I play at the right time.

Still having a terrible time with Odric in Revenge. Even after looking around online. I find a few tips, but even those tell you to keep reloading the match till you get the cards you want. Sounds kinda lame.

Well, its kinda lame, I totally get that part but it is what it is... You dont actually need to get to that point in the game to realize your opponent is playing the same thing on and on. Yet I still value the fact that you cant money-muscle youre way up in the scoreboard. And I have to admit its a hell of a challenge to get up playing with opponents that can only access the same number of card you can... Thumbs up to that... As for Odric just keep trying...

Look for the counter deck and play it until you get lucky. I got incredibly stumped on the goblin deck on revenge, stuck there for days, finally figured out exalted was the way to go and eventually i got lucky and got through him. Revenge is awful, it gets to the point you just know the card he draws is the perfect draw and you know all the statring cards they usually magically get but when you do get through, it's quite satisfying.

So I'm new to MTG and can't beat Odric in revenge, what's the deck to use?

Funny enough I had a very little problem with revenge. Perhaps I just got incredibly lucky. The only deck I had to play against like 10 times was Krenko. Was funny when he always played Goblin Guide on first turn and if the game knew I had land on top of library he didnt attack LOL. Cheating AI haha. Anyways as guys said, once you know what they are about to play (more or less) it is getting much easier to win. Played two completely different decks, Boros and Jace, through the campaing. I remember I had a hard time beating Hydra encounter and the one with helix. Now what Igot left its just last challenge :)

As I'm brand new to MTG I have no idea how to counter Odric's deck. I am just trying each original deck in turn and none of them work so far.

If you're stuck, play a mirror match with their own deck.

The Goblin Guide cheat is funny because you should never not swing in with it. Every time he doesn't attack I might as well gain 2 life :D. And then crack my Evolving Wilds of course ;P.

Exactly mate, it just made me laugh every singlw time he didnt attack. Ok then, I got 2 extra life and I will draw a land! Boros deck was pretty good against it once I tweaked it agains mass cretures. Odric had good beating against Boros too. Few times I managed brigtflame for 2 and that gained me tons of life (killed my own creatues too) and wiped the board. If you can stabilize against those decks you are for the win. Lightning helix, fire at will, sunhome enforcer, spitemare, intimidation bolt, glory of warefare and loads of cheapo creatures. I think these cards were the most usefull. Well I want to play some revenge again with different decks now haha.

Play Talrand, stall to 5 mana, play Panoptic Mirror + Time Warp. Not sure even Goblins can reliably beat that kind of deck in 5-6 turns.

Revenge wasn't that difficult for me. I beat Bolis on both normal and revenge first try. Making a quick and effective golbin deck can get you through the worst.

This is fine if you have Goblins unlocked, but Bolas cheats so bad it's just that hard to deal with. My saving grace was the fact that it's so easy for SS to wipe out his cheesy Mox mana with Pernicious Deed. It slowed him down enough for me to eventually manage to set up and take him out with a Lord of Extinction.
