Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns

Sovereigns or Gift?
I bought the Warchest and I'd like to play with my new toys. The only problem is, which do I install and in which order?

Through deduction, I determined that Sovereigns is the first in the series and that 'Gift' is an expansion to that (according to Wiki).

So, do I install Sovereigns and then the expansion 'Gift'?
Does 'Gift' require Sovereigns to run (or visa versa) or is 'Gift' stand alone and includes all the elements of Sovereign (thus rendering Sovereign unnecesary)?

I can't find any information on these things. Please advise. Thanks.

Hey. Sorry I'm late.

Gift is a standalone expansion, so you don't need to install sovereigns to run it. If you're playing the campaign first, play Soverigns. If you're just going to be playing random maps, play Gift. It has slightly more features, but the campaigns hard.
