Helping will be rather difficult without any details on what's going wrong. GFWL is rather fickle, e.g. when I first dealt with it it didn't work because somehow the MTU settings in Windows were misconfigured.

after buying the game on steam an downloading it steam gave me a key which i never had to enter anywhere. i can still play but most of the options are grayed out and nothing gets saved at all

does anybody have some answers what to do?

im on windows 8 and i got this game running fine. you need to unstall windows live games (both of them) then go to the website and reinstall. also make sure your firewall/antivirus is not blocking the game. enjoy :)

That's completely untrue, GFWL works perfectly fine on Windows 8.

You just need to install it via the website, rather then the old version that Steam still insists on installing.

on windows 7 is working , i have other computer with windows 7 and working but on windows 8 nothing , i've unistaled the game live and section 8 rebooted and instaled again and nothing .

I use norton internet security 2012 and have excluded the section 8 folder on firewall and ports too and nothing.
