Section 8 Online Not Available

Has anyone else been experiencing this regularly, lately? I know this happens from time to time due to server maintenance, but I've been trying to get online since about 12 hours ago, and keep getting this error. GFWL is connected, and S8:P is un-blocked in Windows Firewall (no other firewall software installed).

The server is often down. sadly I don't think it will be long before it's gone for good.

I hope they come up with a new S8 game that doesn't use GFWL; I think that really killed it.

or change the online structure so we don't need a main dedicated server from them.. having to pay again for another game for be able to play online because they shut down the servers for a game we've paid for..

it's like "hey, we want more money, so we ♥♥♥ up the game you bought and you buy our new game to play online !"

if they would to do that, they should at least make everything free for people who bought S8:P..

TimeGate got sued by the publishers. The publishers won, took ALL timegate's money, and the rights to the game.

Not Timegates fault the servers are down.

there is one on Swarm mode, that's the mode I always play. I'ma hop on for about 20min

I just found this (relative to the lawsuit):

So, it turns out that the original publisher of S8 was "asleep at the wheel," and that Timegate stole, after legal fees and penalties, a net of about $1.65 million (USD) by way of violating contract and fraud. I wish my favorite multiplayer FPS wasn't made/published by crappy (business) people. :-(

And then it's again the players that are hecked. No problem in paying a game and not being able to play it.

Make sure youre not lokking for ranked matches, they nnneeevvveeerrr... Work, if not.. If you have a xbox360 then buy it on there. Theres lots of people on the 360 version

Huh,people still play S8P on xbox?

Lets just say millions, every match you look for on there (but ranked). Theres one.
