Finding Missions

I'm having problem finding missions within the game. I've been traveling around for over an hour and no mission pointers have shown up. Is this a bug, or just how the game works?

Well, after I got to the big crunch, it respawned me in a place with missions, so I guess I'm good.

Make sure the interface is active. So on most versions if you press '\' or '/' it'll show up.

Also, you've got some missions for each type of celestial object. Asteroid, planet, star... So you need to be in a specific form to get to missions for that form. (e.g. the Duel series of 3 missions are for stars). Once you've done the missions, they disappear unless you clear progress in the UI.

You might have been in a mission and didn't know it
next time try backspace-abort mission
