Love the game
The game is super fun and i got it for just over $2. One thing that would make it better is if they added galaxy level before you become a black hole

I agree this game is a nice little gem! especially for the 2.49 it costed. Though honestly, i might not have bought it at all except i have seen the devs around the solar 2 forum actually caring about their work!! (lets see you do that activision/treyarch!) and i enjoy supporting the indie devs that put time into making their game, and then put even more time to come here to help make their game better! Thanks Solar 2 team!

I Definitely have no regrets on buying this game I think it's a very nice casual game with hours of entertainment. And who knows. Maybe they will add to the game?

Actually, at the center of every galaxy is a black hole, so maybe it should be AFTER the Black hole stage.

I can agree to that

I did consider galaxies, and it sounds neat, but in practice it doesn't really work. Firstly, to have enough planets and stars to be a decent galaxy you'd have to zoom out so far that even stars would look smaller than asteroids! You wouldn't be able to see anything, especially on a lower res screen.
Secondly, galaxies aren't really objects like stars, asteroids and blackholes are. They are meta-objects, they are just a name given to a group of 'real' objects. In Solar 2 that role is already filled by multi-star systems. Multi-star systems are already as big as the game can handle, any larger and you'll get the aforementioned problem, of things being too tiny. You can essentially think of large, 6+ multi-star systems as galaxies. In fact, that achievement for getting 6+ stars should be called 'Galaxy', would make much more sense, ha ha. Would have been cool if 6+ star systems grew a black hole in the middle of them as well. Probably won't add that in to Solar 2, since it would really mess up a lot of the missions and stuff if you could use a blackhole in them, but sounds like a great idea for Solar 3.
So yeah, rest assured I have considered it, it's just that galaxies don't really work in a gameplay sense, and their role is pretty much already filled by multi-star systems.

That explanation makes a lot of sense. I guess I didn't think of it that way. It just felt like black hole led too quickly into the big crunch. Thank you for that explanation.

The game is ok, but the same thing has been done before. However if it is on sale (I got it for 3.49) it is worth the buy. It is definently not worth 10 bucks. I'd give it an overall rating of 7/10.
