RZA - PATCH NOTES - 8/29/2013
Today we are releasing the first patch for the Ravaged Zombie Apocalypse expansion. During the past week many of you have had a lot of great feedback and suggestions. Below is a list of fixes and balance tweaks we've made to the RZA expansion and the vanilla Ravaged build. Let us know what you think, see you in-game!

Zombie Game Mode Changes
- Zombie Howler radius of influence decreased
- Added countdown timer for time remaining in wounded state
- Increased the down timer from 30 sec to 90 sec
- Everyone starts with medic gun
- Lowered Zombie health
- Decreased depletion rate of fuel
- Increased Chainsaw damage
- Weapon ammo increased

General Updates
- Fixed a collection of HUD and menu related issues
- Fixed multiple crash bugs that were reported
- Removed Derelict map for now due to shader related issues

I'm glad I decided to give this game another go. This new zombie mode is neat but needs work, and here you are putting in the work, so I'm gonna stick with it

i just beat the asylum map, solo on easy in three minutes, thirty seconds. just long enough to sprint around the whole map and kill about twenty zombies on the way.
easy, most certainly means easy, now. time to set the server to hard.

If everyone starts with the medic gun, take out the spawn points for the medic gun. Also work on more maps and balancing the maps out. For instance, there is no gas in the Asylum map, yet there is a truck at base. What? Also some maps have an abundance of fuel and others you can barely find any on the desert maps. (which is every map except asylum)

Also, spawning zombies is stupid and cheap. I'd reccomend not to spawn zombies, just add so much so that trying to kill every one would waste more time than you have in a round.

The game is too easy now on easy difficulty, for some reason most of the time I can only find easy servers (European). Only sometimes I get medium difficulty servers and I think I've only seen hard servers when the game mode was new.

Update was definitely an improvement, but I agree with THE| Truth, the respawning needs to stop. At least as long as players are around. It's weird if you check your surroundings, attack a group of zombies and suddenly you get attacked by lots of zombies that weren't there before. Before the update made the game mode easier this often lead to my death and it was frustrating and annoying. Especially on Asylum it was almost comical - we couldn't even get away from the starting base since the zombies spawned faster than we could kill them. Together we had ~300 kills and were still at the starting location with a huge amount of zombies in front of us.

I would also suggest to slightly reduce the damage done by melee weapons so you need two hits to kill a zombie. Now that there is more ammo melee weapons should only be used as the last option imo.

Finally you definitely need to fix the chopper end game part. If you get the last engine part you're screwed most of the time since there is almost always an idiot who jumps in the chopper before you can get there. Like I already said before, a good idea would be if you needed to bring back the parts to the chopper to repair it instead of just collecting them.

I agree with this, it has happened to me so many times. Another thing I would like to see is the mission complete and mission failed text changed as it looks like it took ten seconds (not even Impact text) although this isn't important (but i'm sure could be changed easily).

It feels like devs don't play the game themselves and don't really know what changes does it need. Do not make it easier cuz' of some people not being able to finish a map without dying.
You can easily bunny-hop from every zombie you encounter.

I said this about the ending part countless times, and yet nobody is even seeing this as an issue. About the Asylum map. There car was placed a the start for a reason you know (and 1 fuel tank was behind a car) All you had to do is rush your vehicle to the near ladder.

Lastly this mode could use an indicator or something ( like in Dayz) so you know how much noise you can make before your jumped by a horde.

what about delete insant death from zombie mode (coop only)?
because this game have bad vehicles mechanic.This is the remains of the original ravaged and no one reason to include this on zombie mode

if players leave the car on map Asylum, car disappears. In addition, Asylum is the worst map in Ravaged

And because zombie animation is terrible, is not always clear how the hit system works. I see that it does not work on sniper rifles, but guarantees a killing with a single shot from a shotgun.

Another disadvantage, which has already been mentioned above, the weapon switching is awkward. 'We no need stinger' (F7 button). I need special button for switch to med gun quick

Random generation of zombies is a wonderful thing in itself, but this idea is completely destroyed with constant zombies respawn.

BUG: death in textures. I sat on top of a three-seat car as a fourth passenger:
