Leaving us behind
We want regular updates at the moment we get a tiny update once a year. We want to see more guns, veichles, maps, endless zombie mode and map editor. Don't just leave us behind after about 4 updates.

Are you aware that this game was released in Oct 2012? It existed about a year before it was renamed to Ravaged Zombie Apocalypse. Steam mistakingly listed it as a new release or maybe it was a marketing effort.

In the meantime, we got countless updates with many new maps, new gamemodes, and lots of new weapons. IIrc even the XP system was added after release, so you could unlock the fancy new guns. We even got a Zombie mode for free. Other companies would charge a lot for a DLC.

I don't know many developers that provide so much content for free! Even the last "tiny" update (as you called it) contained new maps - or rather remakes of maps for Resource Run mode.

The only thing I could blame 2dawn for is that many important bugfixes and tweaks are still painfully missing. However, I'm quite impressed with what they achieved, and it's one of the best games I ever played.
I cannot blame them for working on new projects in order to earn money after Ravaged was out for over a year and (supposedly) not a big financial success.

Yes I know it has been out since 2012 and had almost from release. I honestly think it hasn't had much change since then and even though the XP system was added there are only a couple of guns to unlock. I am happy with the game however I just wish they would put more time into it.

They haven't made enough money from this game to keep it up and running, but they somehow keep it up which is great!

Don't you expect monthly or at least 6 monthly updates?

I don't blame 2dawn for anything.
they released a good solid little unreal engined fps with Ravaged.
then they released the zombie mode by public demand.

But nobody plays, so why should they update it. catch 22.

oh no not at all. but we couldn't blame 2Dawn if they did. they can't be making any money from it, servers are probably costing them more.
an SDK (which was actually promised) could put it in the hands of the community and we'd see what we made of it from there.
At the moment it just *feels* like another game where the developers walked away leaving the door swinging, which happens to far too many of these indie games these days.

According to Zed the RDK is very close to release.

They could close most of the servers leaving one for each main continent/country because there are only normally 3 people playing at a time and on one server (unless it's Friday and a lot of us go on but that only fills one server)

Just now
11 servers and 0 players traditional ravaged (not including me)
20 servers and 1 player zombie mode (not including me)

A waste of money having that many servers open

I remember when Ravaged came out and the servers were all full. It was such awesome fun. It's really a shame that no dedicated community exists around this game.

Umm, there's us, the hardcore group... we have play sessions in fridays/sundays.

There should really be a sticky made for that group...
