[Last of the Thunderlords]

So, boys: Here it is - the much-requested, very off-schedule thread for you guys to have an adventure of some kind in the world of 40K.

For the purposes of this thread not being deleted, let's try to keep it somehow related to Soulstorm.

The Death-World of Nox. To fight the beasts that naturally live there with the Black Templars Chapter of Space Marines in an endeavour to train their Consripts. Beset upon by the Tyranid remnant of the Hive Fleet Behemoth, the consripts fight it out on top, but also find themselves in an alliance with the Eldar to hunt down the Pirate lords of the Dark Eldar from attacking them in this hellish Training mission.

THAT sounds like an Exterminatus waiting to happen honestly, but it's all in good fun!

Meanwhile on the Holy Terra, "Blue Angels" part of 8th Cadian Regiment is preparing to move, to spread the light and the word of the almighty Emperor of Man yet again. After a short, yet bloody campaing on Acheron the forces of Captain Pik are ready to face any foe, be it alien, deamon or the heretic. What dangers could possibly await them this time?

(so do you have any specific scenario in mind or we're just "going with the flow"?)

Magneria:
After heavy losses fighting off Necrons, Tyranids and other beasts of the galaxy, the 1st Magnerian regiment is back to full strength and re-organised, at its heel the unshakeable Magnerian army. In a newly-built fleet, they strike out into the void to smite the enemies of the Emperor wherever they may hide.

(Update on Magneria, it's in the Jericho Reach, of Deathwatch RPG fame as of a few days ago. xd)

I was thinking about Inquisition plotting againts the Emperor, any thoughts?

I think that's a bit too grand for a start. Lets start with something more normal,such as slaughtering a Ork WAAAAGH! on a Imperial world,or a long campign of open combat with herertics (Slaaneshi or Tzeentch,with CSM and SM joining in on the fun later on)

I think I'm with Skull here - at least at first. How about this: we start off with you guys working together to beat back an advance by the the Thousand Sons and a Tzeentchian cult, then find evidence incriminating an Inquisitor with a high rank in the Inquisition, thus necessitating a civil war of sorts to stop him (or her) from spreading the word of Chaos any further. Sound good?

I think I'm with Skull here - at least at first. Yeah considering we looted one of their ships last time...
It would be interesting to face the Thousand Sons tough. We are gonna need some help from Adeptus Astra Telepathica,that's for sure (gonna be fun screwing around with Sanctioned Psykers) ...And maybe from the Officio Assassinorum...
