Game Not Starting

Just bought this game to pass some time, but when i click to start the game it does nothing.
Ive looked around on her to see other peoples problems and fixes, but i havnt got anything to work yet,
can someone help me out??

Geforce GTX960
Intel i7

Same system I have here - so I'd guess your video driver is possibly broken?

i updated my nvidia driver from the site last night after reading a comment stating that could be the problem, but it did not help.
I tried to update it through Device manager but that always fails.

What's in your user home directory under .revenge_of_the_titans_1.80?

Under your user home directory eg. c:\Users\TheMangoBomb\.revenge_of_the_titans_1.80 there will hopefully be two files, err.log and out.log - if you can find them and paste them here we might be able to find out what's going wrong.

Well ive searched my C:\Users\tom_s folder, but i cant seem to find revenge_of_the_titans_1.80 in there or any of its folders. Is it possible this file is created upon starting the game? I am yet to get the game to start yet thats all.

If the game isn't managing to create that directory at all it means the game isn't starting up at all, which means it's corrupted or being actively blocked by something else.

You wouldn't be running a virus checker now would you?

Well i only have windows defender running in the background, (not running a scan) and ive added an exception for the game so i wouldnt block it. Dont have any other virur checkers

If you browse to the .exe file itself, are there any log files in there? hs_err... sort of thing

Nope, no sign of them in there either, just lots of .jar and .dll files.
its not in the Bin Doc or Lib folder either lol.

Not yet, ill do that now and get back to you.
We have bad internet currently so even this 300mb could take a while.

Ah its actually going at a decent speed and should be done in 5 mins, i had it installed on my second SSD (E drive), where i put all my games. Ive installed it onto the C drive this time, maybe this will help

Well hahaha... that worked :/
Not sure if it was just the reinstall or the fact that it was on my E drive, but at least it works now :D
