Stuck on flying boss on Level 46 hecate
I'm having difficulty beating this flying boss. I think I beat her the last time by using berzerk, freeze, and a bunch of capacitors. This time around, starting the level, I have one freeze and no berzerk. The rest of the titans are going down pretty easy with 2-3 lasers, 2 multi-blasters, 2 blast cannons, a bunch of add-ons, and a couple of shields (maybe overkill, really). But, at best, I seem to only be able to kill the boss after she's already destroyed the base. Her base insta-kill attack happens pretty quick and seems to be immune to everything. I also can't put my weapons between her and the base, because there's a mountain in the way.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to kill her? I know I could probably get another berzerk and freeze by getting the special supplies but I'd rather not do that. I expect I may need the supplies later, and I don't think I'll be able to respec it. It will also take 2 research points since I don't have reinforcements.

I finish building at about 4 min and the boss reaches the base around 6:45, there are links to the times in the description.

I made many more attempts today, 4 of which I recorded. This is the last attempt, and closest I got to winning. I lucked into a second freeze, but I didn't get it off in time or I might have killed the boss before it got the base.

I ended up going with 4 lasers. I noticed that the multiblasters and blast cannons weren't doing much so I removed them. I removed one force field and probably didn't really need the last one, either.

I noticed that the boss moves starts moving very quickly as it gets closer to the base, so I tried to place as many capacitors with batteries in range of the boss, that I could, long before the boss arrived, but I still only managed to have 4 in range. The mountains really limit where I can place things.
I realized one big mistake I was making was that, in all of my respec'ing, to try to find a winning strategy, I left a out a few sciences that give passive buffs. Specifically, Xenobiology and alien anatomy.

I don't know if those affect capacitors, but it was after the loss in this video, with 10 well-positioned capacitors, that I decided I might be missing a passive buff.

I only recorded the last 1:23, but I forgot to fix the sound.

I finally won by creating a cluster far from the base, where the boss is still moving slowly.

Awesome :) I think just getting those capacitors further out from your base would be the easiest strategy. The original problem you have is that you leave it to the last minute to take the boss out, when you could be harrying him all the way from the moment he spawns.
