I cant even select a resolution in the combobox. It's empty and nad it doesn't start when I click on Start.

This game runs an old version of PhysX.
Download this:

https://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.13.0604-legacy-driver.html

And disable antialiasing or whatevers its called in Hydrophobia's startup menu. (Turn of MLAA)
