a badly translated beautiful & brutally complicated fps
honestly, i love the game, the story isnt so good, but thats not why you're playing Eye
you're playing it to be simultaneously hopelessly confused and yet entranced by deep rpg mechanics that you can actually see take effect in an fps.
the story reminds me a lot of neuromancer/fallout/syndicate, perhaps that is an ignorant observation within the cyberpunk context.
but the game mechanics, the squad based attacks, fighting your characters hopelessness and broken legs. the leveling and sometimes unfair clicky hacking minigame, more than make up for any shortcomings to me.
or maybe, just the fact that the mechanics are so richly done in a genre full of soggy one note AAA games.
