E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy

Your tactics
I'm interested in knowing what your tactics are in different situations? What do you do for fun? What do you do for exp? And what for brouzoufs?
Also, at what game settings?

I'm about level 30 so still trying out different things.

One thing I have noticed: many enemies will die disturbingly quickly from individual rifle shots. Also, give a thought to the Damocles sword as it can make some situations much easier.

Oh yeah, and the penalty for using the three gate spells is at least as bad as the penalty for death. Just say no.

I usually use a mini-gun or the hevy sniper(cant remember then name >_<) if I see a Deus ex machina, but usually I use the S300, with the morta, and a few grenades.

I almost always play on ghost, because on normal they could always see me no matter where I was, but I keep all other settings on the default.

For fun I get the grenade launcher and turrents, and camp a spawn when playing against Jian NPC's, it gives a lot of brouzoufs, and good exp.

Ghost + Invasion is the best way to earn exp + brozoufs quickly. Noctis map is quite good for farming too.

oh, last night I found out you can use the BK13 full auto, so that paired with a Damocles, speed and cloak, your almost unstoppable in close range fights.
When you finally level all your implants to 10, complete all researches, earn all gate powers, and gain immunity to fatal wounds your play style changes drastically. I used to play a lot more conservatively, relied on my medkit more often, and only used gate spells under special circumstances since there was always the risk of fatal wounds. I also used to be very meticulous with my loadout and always carried a melee weapon, a sidearm, and a primary. Now I'm able to easily survive any encounter on Ghost+Invasion with just a damocles or distortion hammer and a black crow, provided I make heavy use of abilities like substitution gate, dragon's breath, and power conversion. Thing is, the game's actually even more enjoyable this way despite being easier.

Unfortunately for us Gray Masters, the drastic change is a sudden snap from being utterly worthless to comically godlike.

I really only had one tactic as an Equilibrium: taking heavy armor with a medkit, casting Polyclone/Transmutation to keep the heat off (and later, add additional fire), turning on Dermal Sheath if there were heavy enemies about, and then dropping headshots. We don't get access to any of the cool♥♥♥♥♥♥initially, so we're stuck with hauling a TRK A.D. anywhere that has armored enemies (i.e. most of the game), so there's no choice but to be a sniper with mobile cover.

Right about the time we get the BK 444, allowing us to stop needing a rifle for strong enemies, we also get access to Invocation/Dragon, have one or more Gate spells, possibly the Excidium or warhammer, and have ammassed so many upgrades we can basically kill via sneezing. The concept of "tactics" implodes when you're capable of just jumping into a Deus Ex's face and smacking it to death.

If you have unlocked the research to heal fatal wounds, then Substitution Gate and Energy Conversion work together well.
