Best Underrated Game in Steam?
I think this is the best underrated game on Steam, people just avoid it because it used to be buggy (thanks for updates!), tutorials aren't much helpful and the story is complex

Actually, the reason people don't play this game is because you must use your brain to play it

This game is just utterly amazing to me, but even though i feel that there is SO MUCH that can be easily improved and expanded, i just love this game. Its just......so good....to describe it takes time.

What appealed to me the most was how early you could pick your set-up and right off the bat fit your play style. I was thinking Warhammer at the time so I equipped some heavy armour and the sulfatum which is that mini-gun and walked around as a killing machine.

I just barely started playing this with a few friends. Pretty excited. How long of a campaign would you say this is?

About 7-8 hours long for the first time, more if you explore everything

And you can beat the game in 3 different ways, thus making it about 20-25 hours to have all endings in the story, then you should play Temple HQ and Secondary Missions to unlock weapons, Psi powers and level, if you wanna have all weapons, all psi and all researches unlocked... I've spend about 100 hours in a character and only now I have all weapons and all research, still not all Psi powers

Love this game! Been playing in co-op with a friend of mine, from beginning to the end. Still lack like 4 research items. The usual hard ones to find. Any tips on how to get them?

Well, probably you are missingthe Gen Regeneration ones (there are 3) , you'll only be able to get them after you research some certain others, which probably the 4th is one of them, just go around killing enemies and it will eventually drop

It's great but you have to admit it's not for everyone. It explains very little in both gameplay and story. It has somewhat clunky menus and the progression feels very weird/dreamy, though that's part of the charm for me.

I wouldn't say it's underrated. It's more it's such a strange game, peoples don't always know what to think about it. Did I like it ? Did I hate it ? Sometimes, they don't reallt know.

It has some issues but it was among my overall favourite games of last year.

This game is the only one that has made me believe games can be a narrative art form, and I have a major in Fine Arts. The perfection of the story, the implications of the metacontext and the all around solidity and coherence of the narrative thread is simply flabbergasting. And that's just one side of the coin. We also get great combat, amazing RPG depth, fantastic level design and intelligent design! Bugs are a very small price to pay for such greatness.

Glad to see someone graduated in Arts talk about the game's art and narrative, I always thought the same, I'm no artist, but I do enjoy it.

Cheeseburguers are piece of art.

Still, why people just make fun of people who study art? I know its not an stable choice for a living, but surely it makes you learn a lot about things, culture mostly.

This is one of my favourite games and it's sad that so many people hate it.
