So I've played this for like 14 hours, this is wot I think
It had potential to be an amazing A+ game. Unfortuantly there's a lot of major problems, such as poor story telling and unbalanced stats. I put points into hacking and it's barely easier than what I could do at the start of the game.

As for the story, let's say I went down the path of Anakin Skywalker because I had no idea who to trust.

The game isn't that hard to learn, just read the descriptions.

There's also this mission on Mars that took me 4-5 hours to complete because of how broken the quest/mission system works. It only gives you a marker for where you're suppose to go but sometimes it doesn't tell you where to go at all. The mission descrption didn't help either. I had to restart the mission so many times because I thought my game was broken.

Long story short, could of been an amazing game but it's downfall is the other half of the game which brings it down to a "Probably worth getting if it's <$5"

The major issue i have is the constant respawning. It takes away any sense of tension for me and evenually just made the game boring. I made the mistake of taking the special mission and got 4 permenant injurys, i think thats the end for me.

blueheaven, under options you can set how frequently the AI respawn. you can't turn it off altogether Except for specific maps. and you can also set the obstacle difficulty. So if you lowered difficulty the the lowest setting, the Hacks that you would barely be able to accomplish would become extremely easy.

I stopped playing the game because I accidentally screwed up the story because of how poor the story telling is. Long story short I had to shoot up the temple.

Again, Interesting game that was bogged down by the multitude of critical problems.

I don't think you actually screwed up the story, i had this feeling too :)
Having to storm the temple is normal.

No, I'm pretty sure I did. I read a review of the game and when you do that mission on mars or whatever, you're suppose to side with your mentor, not kill him. After that you're branded a traitor or something and you have to kill everyone in your temple

That's not "screwing up the story" or "supposed to". That's the story. The story goes deeper. Three different paths to take. Three powers to learn.

There is 3 endings you can reach, and a fabled 4th ending aparently which i don't know much about.

Imo story telling is ok, but respawn is so painful. Sometimes some federals with shotguns appear just behind me and kill with 3 shots. They can spawn behind me even if I am in small room like this one with cemetery and elevator on 2nd map.

I didn't really have any problems with respawning because I specced in hacking. Most of the time I just hacked everyone instead of going guns blazing.

I upgrade hacking and stealth augments too, but its pretty annoying when squad of enemies respawns near you.

The fourth ending is the easiest to obtain...but it's by far the most time consuming. Purely because it requires you to beat the game three times.

First of all, you need to beat the game and learn each of the "gate" PSI powers; Triangular Gate, Substitution Gate and Hypnotic Gate. Each of which can only be earned on one playthrough. There are certain story events you have to trigger, but it would take far too long to explain here!

Once you've got all three "gates", start a new campaign. You know right at the start where you wake up in the cave? There is a wall on the far right that breaks open and leads you to a "hidden" level.

I'd rather not spoil it for you, so I won't tell you anymore. I suggest you check out the E.Y.E Wikia (use link below, or just Google it).

Sorry for the essay, but I hope this helps! :)

as for the hacking thing i did notice that putting in points incresses the range of things you can hack
Ajay Mar 9, 2013 @ 8:26am
getting points in hacking activats a counter attk, the enemy hack will stop and be canceld for several seconds, thats a really nice tool to hack the flying carrier. it also is cumulativ with the hack augment and you will inject more often a virus onto the enemy system which destroyes alot hp

I don'k know about anybody else but for me the crazy brokeness was part of the appeal. Yes, there are multiple issues, yes, the storyline makes no sense, but that's all part of the fun! The Mars mission, for example, can be completed in under 20 minutes if you know what you're doing, and the mission 'Forgotten Centre' (can't remember which number it is - possibly 3) can be competed in less than 5. You can have 32 player co-op for Christ's sake! Some people would call this a problem, but I think it adds to the fun - if you want to you can break the f**k out of everything, but you don't have to. Surely having the option to screw around is a good thing. The enemy respawn is weird - sometimes you're swamped by the buggers while at other times you're the only person on the map. I personally have had fun taking advantage of these things and think the game wouldn't be nearly so good if it actually worked!
