Bobble tips
Anyone got any tips for fighting Bobbles? My current strategy is to stand on top of my maze, pump my shotgun, and blow their freaking brains out, but at the same time, its too slow a strategy. The sniper is too slow and requires me to be very specific (nothing is wrong with needing to practice), but the faster guns are too weak. Is there a better way to fight them, or do I need to just train with a no-scope sniper?

rex and assault grenades will make shot work of them.

Does the Rex really work well on them? I read on the Wiki that a direct hit to the weak point with the Rex doesn't ever do critical damage.

I like to use the shotgun and killingfloors for bobbleheads, but I'll try the rex and grenades next time.

Use the assault gun or tesla rifle

at one point they were outright imune to explosives, and due to how explosives work in sanctum, they cant get a weakspot bonus
also a freeze gun can do wonders against bobblehead when combined with sniper

i just use a upgraded sniper (lvl4-6) on them

I use drones, but I'm a beginner, so... but the drones hover right above and hit them mostly on the head. I always place a few drones at the beginning of a maze and then about halfway through, they take care of any bobbleheads that I don't manage to hit with my sniper rifle. One caveat to this, though, is the fact that you need a strong tower setup early on in your maze, so that basically only the bobbleheads remain to be droned by the middle.

...Like I said, though, beginner. Haven't played much.

Same here, but a sniper with 4 shots is great to have in almost every level i've played so far. Lvl5 (or 6) sniper = 1 hit kill on bobbles so they don't even reach the grid and the towers can focus on other things.

Tesla Alt fire, till they get up close. Then Primary till they die. ...through a holo if you have one.

Try to never let them enter your maze.

A fully upgraded Tesla is by far my most used weapon. The alt fire has the effect (not the damage mind you) of a sniper rifle on tanks and bobbleheads, and arcs between clusters of air units. And most of all; you never have to reload it. The primary is a damage hose. Perfect for runners and highly effective when used in tandem with the Freeze gun's primary as the cooldowns match up and it clusters more enemies into your spray. On multiplayer it can also work well with a maxed out REX. The one and only downside is that its damage output later in the game is rather weak on single targets.

Tesla for sure. I tried the sniper as well and it's just too slow. If I notice Bobbles coming up in a few waves I make sure to level the Tesla up a few times. Once you max it out it will cut through them like butter.

Bobbles need to be sensored. And so do the Soakers in Sanctum 2...
I find Tesla and Assault work best. Or if you're quick enough, the sniper.

for hand weapon i like the tesla, for towers i like killing floors and a couple of lightnings, killing floors are good for a lot of mobs that are hard to target.

I found it best to just use assult when he leans close to you.
