Mouse input delayed
UPDATE: Fixed in update.

This only seems to affect the main menu. When selecting main menu items with the arrow keys on the keyboard, everything seems nice and responsive. But trying to select things with the mouse seems like it is delayed by 2 or 3 seconds. There isn't any performance issue or visible slowdowns, just that mouse position isn't being updated properly.

So far I've only tested this in Linux.

You can track the bug here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/1460

It's not just the main menu for me, the game is unplayable with the input lag. Framerate seems fine though. It's almost like an input queue is not being service for sometime; my game will not show any signs of registering input, but then it will all of sudden start processing events; screen will move around, menu's open and close etc.

Hope that helps.

kozec Feb 8, 2013 @ 1:34pm
Hi! I solved same problem by disabling "Steam Community In-game" for Anomaly (right click in game list, properties, checkbox is right in middle)
[Linux] jiveaxe Feb 8, 2013 @ 1:58pm
Nice catch, Kozec. Your trick works great!

Same problem here. I can confirm that Kozec workaround works. However... I can get achievements if I disable "Steam Community In-game"?
