I've seen some, I will still be happy to play, if I can figure out why it won't let me access any of the servers that are already up.

There are still some people that play the multiplayer, but it depends what time zone you are in and what time you get on if you will find people right away.

Sometimes you will also have to wait a bit for people to get back on.

But yes, the Doom 3 multiplayer community is still active.

I've just played with few players. If You see server with one guy, or all is empty... Join for one and people will joining too.
You're not alone.
