Doom 2 would be the best doom game. IMO Doom 3 wasnt very good at all. Its nothing like doom 1 & 2 (no maze like levels, no mass hords of bad guys..etc)

its still horoble to cross the mars facilitys for exit and if u foloow the history of doom 3 then say what's the game good or bad

Doom 3 was slower pased but Doom 3 in my opinion is best. And I say that because of graphics. (Not taht the other Doom games suck cuz of old pixelated graphics).

Doom 3 is a great intoductry into the Doom series for anbody that never played the earlier games, and the Doom3 theme song by Tweaker made it famous. :p

Mods also made Doom3 more famous. But I dont install mods becuase I'm inexpericned with computers so I don't want to screw up my game.

DooM 3 is a good game... but DooM 1 & 2 were awesome. Anyone can create their own levels and shared with the comunity that still exits today after almost 10 years.

Which version? Original XBOX or XBOX 360, because I noticed more story content, higher graphics, faster frame rate (fps), and the inclusion of 6.1 Audio which is not in the Original XBOX version. I don't know of all the changes in the XBOX 360's BFG Edition though.

Changes in BFG Xbox probably the same as PC. Better lighting, more realisic views stuff like that

Imo Doom3 is the best single-player FPS game ever, but gameplay isn't the same as in Doom1/2. Gameplay of Doom3 is more like first Unreal: there are less enemies, but they are much tougher. And atmosphere is just amazing.

If you're looking for gameplay like it was in Doom1/2, I'd suggest to try Painkiller Black/Gold ed.

It's a perfect remastered version of classic doom series, I want to say. It's not same with those old good games but it made its own step. You couldn't feel any fear with F.E.A.R once you'd done with Doom 3. That's Doom 3.

I'd say Final Doom's The Plutonia Exoeriment is the best Doom title, as it is tough as nails, has amazing level design, and doesn't have maps 24 (The Chasm *shudder*) or Habitat (vomit)

Doom 2 and Doom end of story + they has tons of mods available so there is millions of minutes to spend on those.
