How do I install texture packs?
I'm having a hard time here since I don't know how to get Wulfen's and Monoxead texture packs working.
Some say I have to put the files into Doom3/base folder (already tried with .pk4 files and also with the ones inside them) but they are not working at all. How do I install them?
I don't use Sikkmod anyway, I just want the texture packs.

That's all you need to do - put the PK4 file in the Doom 3 base folder. Are you sure they are not working? I think the differences are subtle at first. I didn't think they were working, but then I looked at the AUC 'Heaven' sign on the wall on the right hand side of the reception area after you've gone through the bioscan at the beginning of the game, and noticed they were different from before installing the texture pack - it was a different design and more detailed..

Just tried doing a comparison by looking at the sign you've mentioned, but there's literally no difference at all, and I've done screenshots just to make sure. The texture packs don't seem to work for me. That's odd.

Just need to ask to make sure - whch version of Doom 3 are you running? The original, or Doom 3 BFG? The newer BFG version doesn't allow mods.

I'm playing the original one.

just a tip, i used the absolute HD 1.5 mod which incorperates all the best mods including wulfen textures. It comes with installer and looks fantastic. My fav so far. http://www.moddb.com/mods/absolutehd

ye, with this mod all is ok, but i prefer to setup all by myself :(
