Is multiplayer dead or are servers down?

i bought doom 3 for its story but i also read that there are still some people that play multiplayer. when i go to multiplayer though it has nothing, not even one server. The list is just blank and if i click refresh it is still blank. So are the servers down or does no one play doom 3 multiplayer anymore?

The servers are down. I dont know why but they were up a few weeks ago and now they arent.

Server are down more than 3 weeks and none of the dev give a ♥♥♥♥ to give any of the infos to use. Just wundering why ?! : /

Coop on what? Wrong game? PC version never had coop out of the box. No patch changed it.
There are 2 mods for that.

i was thinking to buy this not just for single-player too...

what do you mean pc version never had coop? you mean, doom 3 multi-player is only deathmatch-like? O_O
