The demo
I've never been able to get this demo to launch since I first tried running it in 2009. Since then I've upgraded my pc a few times. I'm wondering if anyone has managed to get it working--I wouldn't want to buy the full product and have the same result.

Typically demos are not updated with the latest patches. Demos only give an accurate depiction of the game as it was at launch. The full game has been well supported since then and is stable and a really great game.

I run the executable and a few seconds later it says "Doom 3 has stopped working".
