DOOM 3
What Is This CD Key Crap??????
So I DOWNLOAD a game from this WEBSITE & I'm asked to enter a CD Key. First I get the code from the CD Key option on the right side of the game library page. Won't let me copy & paste so I go back, write the 20 gazillion letters & numbers, type it in the RoE Code box, doesn't work, realized I typed it in small case, retype in upper case & get the same GDam message. Now, the code listed in the Doom 3 box on title screen is the same one given in the game library minus the last 2 letters. I typed in the code as written in game library as it is the onlly code I was given. Why am I even going thru this bullsh**?????????? I bought the game ONLINE, it has been downloaded, no actual cd received. Where is the stupid RoE code if it is not the one listed in game library?

Instead of whining here... perhaps it would be more productive to email support on the website you purchased the game from? Since they would be the one's handing out the Activation Keys?
Check it again. I made the same mistake. They were asking for the key from the Resurrection of evil add on. Pull that and plug it in. yea, its a pain not being able to copy and paste, just take a screenshot of the code and have it up while youre typin g it in...easy peasy
Actually, I started RoE(to see if a code was needed on that one), shut it down, started Doom3 again & everything woked. It's weird but Doom3 didn't even ask for a code this time! If anyone else reads this run RoE THEN run Doom 3. Wacky.......it would be nice if there were some kind of quality control.......

Hey pebble, instead of trolling around trying to be a wise a$$ perhaps your time would be better spent playing in traffic. I DID check the site I bought the game from (this one you dumba$$) & the code I needed was not listed. I've found posting in forums get me faster results. Most folks are happy to help & are nice about it. Guess you're the exception......

This is exactly what you do. Unfortunately they did a poor job of making that clear from the get go.
