Open wolfconfig.cfg in steamapps/common/return to castle wolfenstein/Main

Search for r_mode, set it to 4; Should be enough :)

If not, remove the file, it will be auto-regenerated :)

There is no wolfconfig.cfg inC:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\Main. There is an autoexec

According to the other issue you posted, that means the game has never started far enough so the default CFG got generated :/ I posted something that helped myself in your thread, please check it :)

I had the same issue, and then I remembered I had zeke's glide wrapper installed (voodoo 3dfx stuff). That made the game try to run with 3dfx accelleration and then crash, I uninstalled the zeke's glide wrapper and now it seems to work fine. Strange innit

The game does however still think I run a voodoo card (whilst I have Geforce 9600m gt), Every time it starts it says sometimes like "refuse to use trilinear on a voodoo". So the game runs in bilinear filtering max

delete wolfconfig.cfg and i works fine. after that if you want to change screen res you have to go one level at a time from 800X600 to the next level and click apply
