Any other old school RtCW players?
I am just wondering if any of you are old school RtCW players (meaning early 2000's when it was very active)? Did you play in any leagues (cal/twl/etc)? What clan(s) were you in, and what was your name? I was watching some old RtCW movies on youtube and started to get nostalgic from seeing all the old names and clans that I recognize.

Personally, my old username was Virv or VirVenator. My main clans were True Soldiers (TS), Full Metal Jacket (FMJ), and Euphoria (eup). I spent most of my playing time on a shrub server that only played the Destruction map, but I also played on OSP servers. My clans and I were pretty active in the TWL and CAL leagues.

If there are any other older players, it'd be great to hear from you, chances are I'll recognize your name.

I'm one them old school players. I get exactly what you're telling me. I remember clans like =KennyCamp=, Mob, and LOD... and oh yea don't forget the AUS.. if that was the clan.. I remember it was made of aussies and i used to play with someone named dingo and tranquial rage. I was in a few clans but I was a casual member. Unknown Soldier a clan i was playing around with. Only because they were nice enough to let me in. Most clans would only want an adult in because teens are normally immature. Understandable but it was still fun! Timenudge, insta gib, classic quake DM, Freezing Panzer rocketes all over and crashing the whole server cause we felt like it hahaha. Trickjumping and the community maps are so good. The classic maps are just as awesome. My favorite are Mp_Beach and Mp_base.. Base was the best for DM! Clans battle never get old. *Walk walk walk... Headshot! Revive .. Heal! Drop to reload and stab someone 1 time by siting above their head to force them to quickly tap out!

oh and I go by Nad3maN previously Grenade Medic.

Yeah a lot of those names sound familiar. I've played quite a bit with Dingo (if it was the same one). I definitely remember that Aussie clan you're referring to. I don't recall your username, but I'm sure we've crossed paths at some point. Do you know if there's a server up where the old schoolers go? I've been playing a bit on a server lately just to realize after awhile that it was a bunch of bots with normal names, kind of confusing.

During most evenings, both versions get at least 1 but not many more human servers active for a good game. I'm 100% players from back in the days are in there. Many just fire it up once a week, month or longer..

I use to run in America's Army and Wolf with the |M| Mafioso clan. I played mainly with Jadgadler, and a few other guys. Mafioso was a shard clan of =KT= Clan.

Loooooong time ago. :)

Oldschool RtCW player checking in. Pretty sure my name was Heit1 back then (just as it is now). I was never in any clans but I played countless hours of multiplayer.

Yeah, I'm an old school RtCW player. I started playing this game when it first came out. One of my all time favorites.

I used to play this a-lot in the early 2000s, name was BazookaPapa usually an allied medic. Never any clan affiliation.

I used to be obsessed with this on the original Xbox. We should get people together again to play.

I remember playing Enemy Territory in 2005-2006, back then the game was incredibly active and there was at least 80-90 servers up with filled with people. Now you can't even find a single server up for it...Shame, was a good MP game too.

Just went back online for Enemy Territory to double-check, and I was surprised at how many servers were up, it was literally comparable to Counter-Strike, as I scrolled through a couple hundred server listings.

The reason I said that before, that there weren't any servers, was because back in 2012, I re-installed Enemy Territory to see if anyone still played it and I couldn't find a single server for some reason. I think I just downloaded an out-of-date version of something.

People should make some new custom SP/MP maps for Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Probably at the period when the master server were down ^^'

Also don't trust the game server list, most are bots. Better browse the servers through SplatterLadder or TrackBase :)
