Forest level broken? Cannot pass

no matter how many times ive tried, i cannot seem to get through the Forest level without some Nazis raising an alarm as soon as i get into the camp. ive perfected the level all the way until the camp, and thats when everything goes horribly wrong.

i go up the nearest ladder to kill an Officer in the small rectangular room above the gates, destroy the alarm button, then i see another soldier firing at me from where the truck is. i pull out the "Snooper" rifle and kill him, but then theres another soldier nearby. if kill him, it says "Failed to Enter Rocket Camp", but if i DONT kill him, he raises the alarm and i fail anyway. whats the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deal?! its nothing but a lose-lose situation

does someone have a strategy to finishing the level? im thinking about finding a walkthrough on Youtube, although i thought id ask on the Forums as well just in case someone has a good one here. thanks!

Try to kill the guard in the box area behind the truck while the alarm shack guard has his back turned. Then hop in the back of the truck and it'll drive you in, thus ending one of the most frustrating levels in FPS history!

i knew that level would be an infamous one...
anyways thanks so much for the tip! ill try it and see if i can actually get past broken stealth mechanics

if your still stuck i can give a direct way thro the camp and all you need is the knife and the snooper rifle
