I used this [setr_mode "4"] myself just now. My 1920x1080 didn't like 1900x1200!
Right click on the wolfconfig file. A window comes up with " open with" and choose word pad.
Change the file as told by mateo$ and make sure you SAVE the file or the change wont take affect.
Are you sure you browsed: \SteamApps\common\return to castle wolfenstein\Main
And did a right clic on wolfconfig.cfg there, then Open with (there could be no Open with if you've never opened a CFG file, then just select Open)?
In the next menu, you can choose Notepad or Wordpad, browse them if needed (they're in the Windows folder at the root of your HDD, Wordpad being write.exe).
When Mat says browse he means within your hard drive, not online.
Steam and your games are stored locally on your pc.
Use the info he sited eg: \SteamApps\common\return to castle wolfenstein\Main
This is where the game is located. the only variable being the label of your hard drive eg:
"c" or "d" etc.
Don't give up. You"ll get it
Enjoy the game. It's a classic.
