Gamepad messing yup my game!

I'm not trying to use my gamepad but some how borderlands autodetects it and starts moving my guy's view all around and to be honest it's quite annoying! Anyone know of any option to keep it from doing that withoutunplugging my gamepad? It never used to do this before and now all of a sudden it happens and been doing this the last 2-3 times i played the other times it was plugged in and no issues so this is something new.
Not sure if this helps but its a Logitech F310 and i have X switched on in the back all the time but if anyone could help with this issue that would be greatly appreciated!

I use the xbox 360 controller, it works out of the box. Also, before I had that one, I used x360ce to emulate it.

Does it do that on all games or only with Borderlands?

Just in borderlands I'm playing the gamepad is plugged in then all of the sudden the gamepad comes alive and screwes with my view its weird never had that happen before.

Seems they on;ly real way to disbalo gamepad is to unplug it but thats not very logical there should be a gamepad yes or no option in the gamepas menu asking if you want to use it yes or no but I turned the sensitvity down see if they keeps the gamepad from auto starting.
