Exploit with infinite religion enhancement

Today during a gameplay with my friend, he had an infinite religion enhancement. He could enhance his religion until the list of available dogmats remained empty.
This happened after I captured his great prophet on my terrain by warrior. Next, he had info about possibility to enhance his religion over and over again...
