Oral Tradition bugged?
So I picked oral tradition pantheon because there were plantation type resources everywhere. However with yield icons turned on I only see one plantation that's actually producing culure. My first city is working to banana plantations but neither of them are producing any culture.

Is this a known bug or does Oral tradition only apply to certain types of plantations?

How many cities do you have at the moment? Have you founded a religion? Are citizens working the plantations and if so is the extra culture still missing?

I've noticed in some games that when I found a religion and it somewhat spreads to one of my other cities due to pressure but not enough to make it so the city is following the religion I lose the pantheon bonus even though both the pantheon and the religion are being followed in the city.

I think a person must be working on the tile to get the culture to pop up, but im not sure

I did found a religion and my workers were working the plantations but I still wasn't getting any culture. I don't think you have to have people working tiles to get the yields to show though because if you take something like desert folklore early on, you will see the faith yield on every desert tile even if you aren't working it.

Also, just to add this isn't the first time I've been been screwed by oral tradition. Had another game a while back that I scrapped because again I wasn't getting any culture from plantations. This most recent attempt at oral tradition screwed me over because I had over a dozen plantations throughout my empire and only one of them was producing culture.

Think from now on I'm just going to assume it's bugged and just avoid it.

You said your workers were working the plantations, I take it you meant a citizen within the city was working the tile right? You won't get the culture until a citizen works the plantation. You can check this in citizen managment and see which tiles are being worked and if you want make citizens work different tiles just click on it to move a citizen there.

I haven't used oral tradidtion myself that much but I don't remember it being bugged.

Yes, I am aware of citizen management. Mistake on my part calling it a worker but it was a city citizen. I even counted the buildings, wonders, and policies to see if it was a just a visual glitch, but I was still producing much less culture than I should have if the plantations were working.

Also, as I've said before I don't believe you need to actually be working a tile to see what it's tile yield. Desert folklore faith will still show on all desert tiles even if you aren't working. But as I said I before, I was working the plantations, they simply weren't producing culture. I had three different plantations in my capital alone but only one of them was showing a +1 culture yield.

Just out of curiosity, what type of luxury was in the plantation that yielded (or at least showed) culture? And the plantations that did not had what categories of luxuries or bananas?

huh, well yeah i'm not sure what to tell you then. Yeah I guess its bugged :(

MAYBE (I really dont know) you can only have people working on the tiles and getting the culture bost for the amount of people who have your religion in that city.

Example: you hve three people in your city with that religion, you can't have more than three different tiles producing the culture boost.
