INPUT NOT DETECTED

I just bought and downloaded this game, since I really enjoyed it whenever I played at a friends house. However with me it will load the logos, play through the opening cinematic, but whne it actually gets to the menus my screen goes black and shows me this: 'Input not detected.' The only way to make the screen visible is to minimize the game via pressing alt+tab. I've tried several times including re-installing the game. Can anybody tell me what's going on and how to fix it?

Problem fixed itself after the second re-install, disregard. :)
