That is your opinion on the matter, and you are entitled to it. Even if you are wrong.

Yeah but I'm right and you're wrong.

Which again is your opinion.

People are free to discuss this, if they actually discuss it. If it keeps being "I'm right, you're wrong", the thread will get locked and people may find themselves on a break from the forums.

Pointless thread.

So you're going to ban me because I'm right and anyone who says this is a real stratagy game is wrong?
To be honest that's typical of a Civ player, can't accept the truth that they're playing an easy game made for those who lack the mental capacity to make strategic decisions in real time.

I think it's strategy..you have to plan ahead and sometimes make decisions on the fly. You also need to decide where to build your next city, which units to build, wwhich buildings for each city etc. However, this is my opinion and it is not right or wrong. You are also neither right or wrong for your view is simply your opinion. You can get off this thread and go play something you enjoy, rather than hate on a game that people such as myself and others in this thread enjoy. Good day.

CHESS is a strategy game and is clearly turn based....what defines a strategy game for you that you feel a need to attack this one?
hrafninn Feb 21, 2017 @ 9:13am
Btw, what is a "stratagy" game? If you don't even know what you're talking about don't spam the forums with pointless threads. This looks more like trolling than a legit question....

A stratagy game isn't turn-base, it's real time.

A real time strategy game isn't turn-based, it's real time.
Fixed.

It's strategy not stratagy. Not using auto-correct?

Everybody knows TBS games are strategy games. It's widely acceptable since the dawn of time. There is nothing to discuss.
If you ask me, this takes more strategy and thinking than an RTS. RTS you just keep building and upgrading units to fight until someone dies or quits. This requires thinking. Where do I put my next city? Do I want another one for those resources, despite the blows to happiness and science? Do I take the policy now to finish the tree or wait until those perks are more relevant because it'll take longer to get my next one? Do I build up my military at the expense of gold and infrastucture, or build up my cities and neglect my army?

Me in RTS games: *Builds a bunch of basic units to defend my whatever*

*Upgrades units into stronger units*

*Builds ranged/siege units*

*Rushes the enemy and wipes them out*
