Crashing
Anyone having issues with random crashing? I can't get through the tutorial mission without the game suddenly just dissapearing in front of me. I did a round of survival fine. I've made a character without issue but trying to play the campaign causes me to crash at some point in the near future. I got to fighting man o war the first time and the second couldn't even finish clearing the park of thugs before it happened.

I actually figured out how to fix it but you won't be able to use your steam overlay while playing if you do it. Go into the freedom force folder for steam and find the executable. Right click it, properties, compatibility then set it to run in compatibility mode for windows xp. That should fix most the issues.

I have the same problem but I was actually able to pass the tutorial mission. My game crashes whenever I enter "hit the fray" to acess my next mission. I've tried to the compatibility option in the folder but I can't find it. Any tips?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Freedom Force vs. the 3rd Reich then find fftv3r which should be a type application. Right click, properties, on top of the window that opens there should be a compatibility tab. Click on the tab then you'll find under that a box called compatibility mode check the box for 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' then choose Windows XP*personally has it on the (service pack 3) version but he doesn't know if everyone has that*. The biggest issue with freedom force is just that its incompatible with newer operating systems. I imagine to play the original freedom force you'd probably have to go even farther back to 2000 or 98.

Sorry I couldn't help. Aside from that I have no clue what could be wrong unless it just installed wrong since you can't get a particular stage to run seemingly.
