I feel so old every time someone posts something about how a game from 2002 was a "childhood favorite." SIGH. I mean, I graduated from college in 2002, and that was after waiting several years after high school before I got started on college.

My childhood favorite was probably Mail-Order Monsters on the Commodore 64, LOL... and I had played a lot of games on the Atari 2600 before that. :/

BUT ANYWAY, tell us what you like about this game so much!

I voted for it on the store page... hopefully it will win. It has a surprisingly high metacritic score (not that I'm trying to start THAT flame war or anything).

Ooo, a demo... off to download that.

The game has some good ideas however I hated trying to do 2 or more groups simultaneously it really made the game unfun.

I voted for this game too, I remember playing it with my brother in MP each having customized our own superheroes with all kinds of powers and transportation options. So much fun.

...so?

Seriously. Your age doesn't matter here. Before video games, people may describe their childhood favorite television show, and before that, their favorite radio program, and before that, their favorite periodical book series.

Are people my age going to go SIGH at those saying Halo 4 was a childhood favorite, or Scribblenauts? Probably, but they still have just as little of a point. Sorry if I was too harshly toned there.

Freedom Force has its issues but what it kept was its charm and a harkening back to the earliest ages of comic books, and even some meta jokes regarding it. The systems are hit and miss but you can't help but continue onward and leveling your characters :)
