When exiting the game...

Is there any way to stop the game from crashing whenever I exit? It's not a huge deal, but it seems to screw up the Steam play-time clock, as the game isn't shutting down properly. MIght be leaving crap behind in memory too, for all I know.

It only seems to happen when running in compatibillity mode for Win98/ME, which seems to be what you need to fix the cursor bug.
