BioShock Infinite

BioShock Infinite

[FIXED] Bioshock Infinite has stopped working...forever
It's so frustrating that it's been so many days and I have not even seen the main menu of the game. The game crashes right when I click on it to start.
I have tried following:
1) Reinstalling the whole game through Steam. Twice.
2) Numerous number of integrity checks.
3) Tried steam in offline mode.
4) Reinstalled steam before reinstalling the game the second time.
5) Tried blocking the BioshockInfinite.exe in Windows Firewall.
6) Many different combinations in the Nvidia Settings.
7) Underclocking the graphic card
8) Windows 8 repair install
9) Windows 8 fresh install with formatting the drive.
10) Tried Windows 7 fresh installation too

The error from the minidump shows something related to ntdll.dll

I want to know if there is any way I can apply for a refund on steam.

My config is:
Core i3 3rd gen
ASRock Z77 Pro 4 Mobo
Zotac GTX660
Corsair Vengeance 4GB+4GB

SOLUTION:
Running steam as administrator seemed to fix my problem

Did you verify integrity of your game cache files?
Number 2 in the list :P
maybe u can try to clear your registry?
You may have a virus/trojan that has seeped into your computer somehow and if so run a full system cleanup to see if this is the problem and if none are found I would recommend backing up all vital data that you dont want to lose and reinstalling your operating system and start from scratch.
I have re-installed whole of the Windows 8 right from scratch. Formatted whole of the hard disk. I am running fresh Windows 8 right now.

Do you know any way of getting a refund from Steam?
@OP: Get and Use Win7 because Win8 is bad for gaming...
windows 8 eh? that might be the source of it, did you try running it through various compatibility modes? My friend uses windows 8 and can't run half of his games on steam, he can run infinite though, this is strange.
Valve/Steam wont give a refund due to user problems with the game as others can run the game fine and they would either say upgrade or wait for a patch or it may be a Windows 8 problem.

Try running it on a System that is either running Vista or 7 to see if it is an Operating System problem as people have had problems with other games running on Windows 8.

@EternalCore. I have so many games on and off steam on my PC. None of them ever gave any issues on Windows 8, including super buggy Tomb Raider. I guess an OS is not to be blamed in such issue.

Brother all the games work for me on Windows 8. Infact this is the first time I am facing such a problem for such a long time. Tried all the compatibility modes as well.
I have the debug message as well. BioshockInfinite.exe is looking for some symbol which is not found in ntdll.dll, causing the crash.

How bad is that!!!. Steam/2K will just blame the OS for something they can't get working.

Too frustrated to respond to the joke
I know all of your other games work, but I really do think W8 is your problem. What made you use W8 in the first place?

Don't look at the error dll instead look at the dll above it as it's the one causing the fault error.
