You were close, though, I'll give you that!
And that's done on the positive side, too. Personally, I think this may be the best game I've played in a long time. The story managed to be incredibly convoluted, while remaining consistent (Which is ridiculously rare for stories of that nature), and while the character development isn't the strongest I've seen, it's certainly strong enough to make me care about them, and grow emotionally attached. The ending was, admittedly, a lot of information all at once, and it shattered the immersion to change the characters so drastically, and the invisible walls were pretty bad at times. Elizabeth could've had her events coded better (ie. throwing you coins), and a handful of other minor points. But as a developer, I strongly believe that the most powerful points in a game lie in the emotion and the unveiling of the story, both of which were done very well (Emotion could've been a bit better). On top of that, the gameplay felt great, and, being something that I don't really look for, when I notice that, it means something. :P
So I enjoyed the game greatly, admitted where it was personal preference, and pointed out the faults. I've seen maaaaybe one or two people do that with negative reviews. As such, they are met negatively. Most of the ones I've seen go as far as insulting people that have enjoyed the game. So just stay reasonable, state your points, and people will listen.
Excellent.
Do you even have Bioshock?
It makes a second playthrough just as enjoyable as the first since you know what's going on, there's lots of things to pick up on and go "oooh that's why!".
EDIT: Ok I see OP is butthurt about getting a thread deleted and thinks that means steam has no respect for users? Hmmm ok.
Orly? Explain this "plothole".
I like how he doesn't know the difference between a Native-American and African-American.
Mfw i see "Liz is the best female character ever created"..
Even the paid reviews speak of shallow gameplay, story isn't great or original much either.
It's a b-movie.
