the game keeps crashign for me and i have amd 6 core over clocked to 3.95ghz.. two ati 6950 hd cards in crossfire mode for a total of 4gb video ram and 8 gigs or reg ram and its getting all choppy and freezes up every couple mins...
Been driving me crazy to. I play it just fine, no slow down or anything, for anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes and then the screen goes black, the audio goes crazy and my monitor loses the signal from my video card.

Half the time it just crashes to the desktop with the Standard "Bioshock Infinite has stopped working" message, the other times I have to reboot my computer.

I'm using a Geforce 660ti and windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

yea i get the msg on my computer when it crashes. i have to force close it from the task manager then the msg pops up. What happens to me is either their talking or recently last crash i was in a gun fight and out of no where it just dies and freezes. And like i said im using a gtx550ti and it has handled everything i've played on ultra or for some games very high that dont have ultra so obviously its the game and not our computers
I've tried a few of the fixes I've seen floating around the steam forums and elsewhere (changing things in a few .ini files, reducing the clock speed on my GPU ect.) but so far no luck. Reeeaaallly hope theres a patch soon.

yea i also did some stuff to like change the poolflow or something and run that check cache thing and even lowered the graphics but guess its not doing it. Guess we'll just have to wait. hope they f*cking fix it real soon

Its a great game, but yeah, it keeps crashing for me too. every time it says something along the lines of NVidia stopped working and has recovered. Its so annoying.

Same problem for me. GTX690, 16 GB RAM. Monster rig, runs anything. I've tried the fixes but none of them work. I can't get it to load anymore, freezes while trying to load the continue.

Getting to the point of exhaustion with it.

GTX580 same issues..poolsize etc tried no joy..patch needed fast as this is a game breaker for me

GTX 670M... same problem & pool size/very low graphics didn't fix it either.

Same problem here: I submitted a tech support ticket to 2K and they told me it was a NVIdia hardward problem not a software problem. I did the same at NVidia but no replies yet. Will anyone take responsibility and patch the darn thing??

I've also tried every fix suggestion I can find on various forums to no avail.

I don't know, but I expect that when my rig meets and exceeds at least the minimum specs that it should run w/o probs.... Guess not!

Ive had the choppy fps when turning real fast but other then that its awesome im getting 60-100 fps on my laptop with 1920X1200 with all high details BUT I just had my first crash! Im sure there will be a patch in a year or two hahaha

This helped me get 45 mins into the game then crashed

@G-GNicho - Check to see if it might be your network card (for at least a dozen of us here it was). Here are the steps previously posted that worked for us:

"I disabled the Quallcom Killer Network Connection from my Device Manger via the Control Panel.
Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager > Network adapters > Killer e2200 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller > Right Click on it > Disable.
Viola! Problem solved."

Hardware problem? Thats a d*mn lie! Everyone that has commented seem to have really good computers so it has to be the game.
