Goodnight Irene progression glitch

When I reach the part of the game where I have to pick ball #77, no one is there. I am able to run around that area, but with no interaction and with the audio still going. This is a glitch where I can not progress so it's kind of a big deal. I've tried reloading the game, restarting a load a chapter back and validating the DL. heeeelp!

That happens if you changed the command files with this stuttering fix.

How do we fix this? I deleted the game and it did not fix it...

Have you tried running an integrity check on the cache? (Have to ask). sm

I have reDL and done integrity checks on this and they did not work. I fixed mine by asking my bro to email me default config files (because if you mess with them to fix stuttering, it can mess up the game) and restarting all over which wasnt that bad because this part is way in the beginning. If you guys want, you can write down msg me ur email and I can send you the files which you would replace and put under "Documents>My Games>Bioshock Infinite>XGame>Config"
