B. I dont really believe its a negative effect. Seeing as your genes would be rewritten it would be come a natural process in you body. And if thats the case i dont belive it would be causing any real harm.
The human body can produce EVE/Salt given the proper food. Either that or the food is a working subsitute for EVE/Salt. Remember coffee and things with caffine raise the EVE/Salt level when consumed.
As for passing on plasmid/vigor abilities, I don't think so. The plasmid/vigor rewriting of genitics may make breeding with a normal person impossible or at least difficult. (a LOT of extra DNS is being tossed into the mix) In Bioshock 2 we never see any kids other than those taken from the surface or have any indication that any childern exist in Rapture. They talk about rebuilding the population, but don't see any evidence that it was happeing. sm
In Bioshock 2 no there where no children. However in Bioshock 1 all the little sisters were created from children kidnapped from various places around rapture. There were also several audio diarys where people where referencing their children.
