*Spoilers* My few questions

[Booker, Catch!]

I've played the game over and over many times, and read up on all of the Wikipedias. There are some questions though, that can't be answered, but I like to think about then sometimes so I'm curious to see if anyone has any inputs for them.

1.) What happens in the original columbias universe in which they leave; leaving Comstock without booker, Elizabeth, or the lutece twins?

2.) What was going on with booker/Elizabeth in the universe that they first went to? The universe in which Chen Lin wasn't dead, and Fink had the new head of security.

Maybe they can be answered but as far as I know most of it's just guessing. That's why I came here, I'd like to here other people's ideas of what might have became of those universes, or if anyone else has questions like these.

It's easy to overthink this, there probably isn't a defnitive answer. When you start talking about quantum effects and multiverse theory intuitive reasoning starts to break down.

1) In the universe in which we as the protagonist appear I'd assume that from the point they leave it will carry on as if Booker and Elizabeth had just disappeared. Elizabeth is the one that can physically move between universes without the aid of a Lutece device.

2) In the first universe they arrived at the Booker of that reality had been killed whilst fighting for the Vox. Theoretically there should have been an Elizabeth there already but as Elizabeth is the 'superposition' of Elizabeth then when she arrived she became that universe's Elizabeth.

Like I said, don't try and overthink it or you will end up going round in circles.

1) When Booker and Elizabeth go to another reality, they arn't really leaving it. What Elizabeth is doing (and not really knowing she is doing it) is mergeing 2 different realities together. (She wonders about this at one point that she is making realities as a form of wish fulfillment. She is.) So the "original" reality is now combined with a different reality whe Chen Lin isn't dead. I don't know where you are in the game but a little after leaving the depths of the Club you ran into guards that shimmered, warped and have nose bleeds. They are people who remember both realities and that they are dead in one of them.

2) Since realiteis are being merged, there is no other Booker and Elizabeth as they are merged with their counterparts. "Our" Booker's personality/memories are the dominant ones. Not that there was much difference between the versions. sm
