Civ 4 on netbook?
I've got an acer aspire v5-122p-0643 with a quadcore 1.0ghz/1.4ghz AMD A6 processor and shared memory GPU(some Radeon mobility chipset) is this enough to be able to run civ 4?

I don't think so, especially late in the game when most of the map is surveyed and each player has lots of cities and units. AFAIK, the game doesn't support multiple cores, and 1.0-1.4 GHz is too little to run it smoothly.

i've had civ run on a dog poop laptop before, i warned me it won't run, but....... it did. It was just very slow.
i was packing a celeron with onboard graphics. and 1 gig of turd ram.

I used to have a netbook, and the most advanced game I could play was Mount & Blade. I recommend getting Civilization 1 or 2 if you have to use a netbook.
