Is there an open-end mode ? If so, can someone name the settings?
Hi folks,
this might sound strange, but is there a way to play this game open ended? I dont want any victory making the game stop. I just wanna keep playing. What settings would I have to start my campaign with?

From my limited experience, you can choose to continue playing after you obtain a Victory, though you'll have to put up with the "So-and-so obtained a 'blank' victory" text onscreen. Posted this in case you didn't already know that.

Thank you very much. I was playing on the highest setting, which gives you the most rounds, so I am not even in the medieval age yet. Good to know thou ;) Thanks again!

Oh, one more question: What happens if I win the space race?

Did some cheating in World Builder to see what would happen, and it looks like the same: "So-and-so obtained a 'Space Race' victory", with an option to play more, or quit now. Hope this helps you.

Thank you :) Yes, it helps. Now I dont have to rush or wage war at all - hopefully :)

You can deactivate victory conditions on the custom game screen and even if a player wins, the game lets you choos if you want to continue playing :)

Personally I like playing normal games all the way through, and playing as Random. nice to mix it up, and I can finish a game in 4 hours and play another one if I want to :3
